Ive stayed here a few times and always been good. The main downside is the last time I was here construction in the area made it a pain to get around. However, once that is done this would be a good place to stay. Parking cost was about 25-30 CAD which is not told to you or posted anywhere until you arrive so beware. The breakfast buffet isnt not bad for the money. The staff here is really nice.

Good 6.0
It’s dog friendly yet staff didn’t know where the closest place to take your dog to go to the bathroom would be. As well, no trash can anywhere to throw away your dog bags. Our room was pretty warm. We noticed that the AC exhaust was duct taped to the window but didn’t notice it had some undo since it was behind the curtain so the hot exhaust was blowing back into the room. No restaurant which was not s huge deal except one night we were tired and didn’t feel like going out to eat. The staff were wonderful. Just feel it was pretty pricey for what you get.

Exceptional 10.0
Great, reasonable stay close to Grammerly Island.
We came in on a cruise. They let us check in at 1100, made great recommendations for fun activities and so much within walking distance. Very pleased!

Poor 2.0
Bed bug infested bed
The stay overall was going average. In general the conditions were below acceptable - wall paper peeling, carpets really old, the wall coming off at the seams, the air conditioning making distinct loud noises and the corridors had a smoke stink and were unreasonably warm. To add to this on the morning of 6th we see a huge size bed bug crawling under the pillow. That was just the tipping off point. We clicked pictures and showed it to the front desk as we checked out, and he gave us the contact for the manager. To whom we wrote an email, sharing what we saw, and hoping that he would respond. Its been more than 24 hours and he has not found it necessary to revert. To add to this the hotel along with the room rent has charged us a security deposit $200 which also has not been refunded, four days later. Our experience has been that much below acceptable, that I am forced to say that you as a website should reconsider having them on your list. I don't know how many eggs and bugs we might have carried back with us. Have sanitized and quarantined all bags.. but still too early to say the extent of the damage. The only thing good was that the service was done promptly given the dismal condition of the furniture, and yes they did have warm water and water fountain and ice machine on our floor.
