Okay - the view is worth it.
The hotel is beautiful and the view was extraordinary! Unfortunately the room was not comfortable. There was a fan in the room when we got there, which should have been a very big clue. But the view was so good that I let it slide. However overnight it was too warm to sleep, the bed was hard, and I saw a spider in the bathroom. I still loved the hotel for the history and the view. I just wouldn’t have been able to stay more than one night.

Great location
Have stayed at this hotel many times and for the first time felt that perhaps I would try somewhere else next time. Long delay in checking in late at night, light bulbs out in the room, overpriced breakfast. But still amazing location, safe and clean.

Great place in the heart of London
Great service and a wonderfully appointed hotel in the heart of London. Located right near St James Park with Buckingham Palace, Westminster and museums and galleries and theater nearby, you are truly right where you want to be. We have visited London many times, but enjoyed this location best. We were close to the tube station and to the ferry stop and bridge across the Thames. We had a wonderful view of the Thames and London skyline from our hotel room window - splendid to wake up to or view at night. Room was comfortable and well equipped with tea kettle and Nespresso machine as well as in room refrigerator filled with water, sparkling water, soda and beer for the taking. I had two business meetings in the lobby area that was served by the restaurant and in the bar area, both comfortable for this purpose. Only pity was the weather was cool during our stay and we could not enjoy seating on the outdoor terrace which overlooks a lovely park area. We will certainly look to return here!

Excellent Choice
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Room was nice, clean, comfortable and quiet. Check in was smooth and Prem went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Staff was super attentive even at a busy time. Our stay was short but perfect.

Good 6.0
Dated - desperately in need of an upgrade
The location is great, but the room while very big , was dated. Twenty year old LCD TV, half the channels had no sound, nothing premium ( other than Bloomberg). Really old fashioned ( and brain dead) controller. Very clean, but in a weird way, The taps in the bathroom were down to the copper , all the chrome had been rubbed off, and yet they were of relatively recent manufacture . The leather recliners were a hit, obviously expensive and an order of magnitude better than the average hotel furniture. Beds were very comfortable. Walls paper thin, I could hear water sounds( and possibly a noisy sump pump) from the room next door or above ( not 100% sure which). But yes I would stay again, and it was great value.
