Crappy property needs to be closed
This is really the 1st negative review I have done for Hotel.com. This hotel I had booked a few months in advice for my daughters graduation from SFA. Upon check in - the lobby was barren and looked like they were about to shut down the place. The room was old and had not been maintained. Ceiling was pealing, beds were old and it looked like a place from the 1930 that had not been kept up. It was the only time I have ever walked into the room and based on the condition and smell ( smoke that had been covered up with FreBreeze) could not stay there and left. I went and booked a room at the Hampton Inn (which was great) and just abanded this room. Did not even go to back to the desk since I had pre-paid and they would have not refunded anything. In total I would recommend that the hotel be dropped from Hotel.com totally!!!

Not great
We would not pick to stay there again. There are other places to stay there. We had to make a quick decision.

Although the girl at the front desk was great, the rest of my stay was downhill from there. I killed at least 4 flies in my room and found multiple other dead bugs on the ground. The shower head was no higher than my shoulders. I'm tall, but I'm not THAT tall. The towels were the size of hand towels and felt like sand paper. I also found hairs in my sheets that made me not want to sleep under the covers. There was also what looked like blood stains by the toilet. The walls are paper thin and the hotel is by the freeway so I was awake listening to cars drive by all night long. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not prepared for guests
We were in Nacogdoches for my niece's graduation from SFASU. The room was stocked with 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 2 wash clothes and a bath mat/towel. I popped into the office to ask for more towels. There were 2 ladies at the desk. The one that I spoke to told me " we are short on towels. You need to exchange the dirty ones to get more." I told her we booked a room with 3 adults. She told me the exact same thing again. I asked what towels are normally stocked in a clean room? She told me of several towels. Our room was not stocked with the amount normal for a guest. She gave me the same answer again! I said, So we have 3 adults, one is todhower then I have to bring dirty towel back to you to get a clean one for the next adult to shower. She said yes. The other staff at the desk told her " just give her it so she will go away ". This other lady was checking in a gentleman at the time. He sai " I guess my wife and I can share a towel ". They gave me 2 more bat towels ." Also the swimming pool had a card key access, but did not open with our room key. There were no swimming for any of the guests, probably because they didn't want to supply towels!!! Will not stay at Motel 6 again. I will not recommend it to friends or family.
