Reminded me of a shady 70's motel in the hallway. The entire interior needs to be upgraded. The lighting was terrible, carpet was old and smelled, needs to be repainted throughout and third floor hallway reeked of booze and urine.

Bad experience
Overall a bad experience. I never thought an hotel in this condition would be available in your listings, or that La Quinta would have such a bad hotel. Dirty, bad mildew odor, dark, lights not working, broken TV, broken refrigerator, AC contacts not working. Dirty walls, carpet, chairs, badroom,. Every seemed like they really haven't cleaned up the hotel rooms in a while. I was changed room 3 times, and every room there was some thing wrong. I ended up leaving almost at midnight during the first night, since I wasn't even sure if the bedsheets were clean. Luckily I was able to find another option, but in the end I had to spend more money, since I had to pay the first night in this hotel and later on on the new one I had to book. There are plenty of bad reviews and pictures of this hotel on the web, and unfortunately they are true. This hotel is really bad. I've been in cheaper hotels that are in much better condition.

Disgusting
The hotel looks nothing like the pictures on the website. It’s old, dirty, broken windows and no lighting in the long hallways. Worse experience I have ever had it was like a horror movie. The dark dirty halls smelled like marijuana coming from the rooms. The carpets are filthy and would NEVER stay again or NEVER would recommend it. I can’t even put my disgust into words. This hotel should not even be a one star. Oh and on top of it all it had no working swimming pool. No one should have to pay to stay in such a place.

Unsanitary conditions
The hotel is disgusting and unsanitary. When I opened the door to my room, a cockroach ran underneath the floor. They moved me to another room, but this one had ants in the bathroom along with mold in the shower. The place was falling apart, lights didn't work and the ceiling was caving in. Shame on Hotels.com for doing business with these people.

I don’t usually leave reviews but after staying at this hotels for about 7 years multiple times, I think it’s time to finally leave an update of what used to be and what has become. This hotel used to be an affordable, budget but decent hotel. In the past years, especially this recent, the hotel has honestly gone lower in standards and probably will continue. Last few times I’ve come, pool is not in service, customer service is no longer welcoming and friendly, rooms and hotel are not clean as they once were. Dust behind refrigerator, microwave, tv.. that’s not so bad I mean who really checks there right.. Shower stained yellow, moldy roof, ugly doors, it’s really going down and ratings are starting to show. It’s not horrible, if you can’t afford a nicer hotel, I mean by all means, but I probably won’t stay here anymore. Just know any lower ratings and comments are true.
