WORST PLACE EVER! Even worse service at the lobby!
I normally don't take the time to write a review, but this time I feel obligated to share my experience. We arrived at 2:30 and the very rude lady at the front with the blond hair and a Johnnie name tag told us to come back at 3 for our check in. We arrive back at 3, and she takes her sweet time to get me the keys. On top of that she tells me to sign the paperwork, but she keeps her hand over the information of the paper and tells me to sign the bottom only. I try to read the information I was about to sign and she yells at me and tells me to "just sign it". I had to yank the paper from under her grasp to read the information, which was wrongly typed up, but by this time I already was in a bad mood from the horrible service. When we enter the room, the first thing I noticed was the stench, but never mind the stench, there was a half empty bottle of vodka in the drawer, blood on one of my pillows, and half of the lights did not work. I was so angered that I decided to take a shower which was it's own adventure because we had to make sure that all the rat feces and the roaches were drained from the tub before hand. Later the lady comes and knocks on my window to tell me about the curtains, which I knew. The next day as I left I noticed that a door had hit the side of my car and now it had a scratch and dent. OH, I forgot to mention the breakfast which consisted of HEB brand yogurts and coffee. The rest was not working or disgusting.

Room smelled like smoke but I was too tired to ask for a new one. This was a just a place to sleep on a road trip. I'll probably stick with holiday inn express after this experience because it wasn't worth saving the money. It was dirty. The beds were clean and comfortable and I slept fine, but I felt like I had to sanitize myself after being in this filthy place.
