Was not informed of parking fee until I got the bill.
Always a good stay here, with pleasant, efficient staff, and a good breakfast. Rooms are a bit out of date, and the hvac is too loud, but overall I enjoy staying in this grand, historic space.
"My room" was not saved for me as requested. But the front desk fixed it! Cleaned but not inspected. I stay a lot and the same room is important.
The receptionist wasn’t very warm but the breathtaking lobby made up for it. The room was nice but their wasn’t much natural light, the bathroom was tiny, and didn’t lock. No room service option. But a good stay for the price.
Stay in the great setting of a XIX Century railway station for a very favorable price. Not the best appointed or luxurious Radisson I’ve been to, but definitely the most charming setting.
We had paid for a King room and they gave us a Queen without saying a word while checking in. We called down once in our room and they said that they were overbooked and didn’t have any Kings available while they still showed 3 available online. The room they put us in was right next to elevator so there was a lot of hallway noise. Inside the room it seems as though the drain pipes went right down the inside of the wall so we heard running water constantly throughout the night. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The room was clean though.
Stay was good, cool nostalgic building well kept. Staff was very nice. The walls are very thin, if you are a light sleeper would not recommend! You could hear the neighbors, everytime the elevator dinger, housekeeping at 3am cleaning next room, etc. I thought the $5 parking was annoying since we were paying a rate higher than 95% of other hotels in area....And what hotel doesnt have a microwave?
The service was great. Paid parking only though, which they inform of at check in. $5 per night. Room was lovely until the heating unit came on. Every time it turned on or off it sounded like a car accident. It was incredibly loud, and jarring. I'm a heavy snorer and the heating unit woke me up six seperate times in one nights stay. We checked out and moved to a new hotel after a single night. Unfortunately the curtains also would not pull completely closed so there was a two inch gap of blasting sun the moment it rose. Lovely aesthetic, fantastic staff, horrible property upkeep. Fix the issues please, I left after one of the worst nights sleep I've ever gotten.
Had a good time
2 and a 1/2 hours of couple next door fighting. Called twice and they still didn’t stop. I will say trax has good food and staff were great.
