Good for what we needed
Location was perfect for our journey heading back to Florida. Hotel itself is an older facility and you can tell… overall it is clean and service is exceptional. The free breakfast could use some help. Everything was cold and looked like it was sitting around all day( at 7am??) when breakfast began at 6. If needed we would use it again but there are other newer hotels here to choose from

Nice hotel
We stayed at this hotel as we went to a baseball game. The shuttle drives to the airport, Amtrak Station and the Light Rail station which was very convenient. All the drivers were nice. Brandy the cook was pleasant her omelettes were good. Dorian made sure the tables were clean and was pleasant as well.

Changes need to be made
My stay at the Embassy suites was very different than past stays. The room i stayed in had a Queen bed when i requested a king. Housekeeping staff only did bare minimum that led me to believe the room wasnt thoroughly cleaned. In the middle of the night i had to go to the front desk for toilet paper. This is not the Embassy suites i stayed in prior to this visit. Corporate really needs to make changes to bring back the old comfortable feel of the hotel. I felt as if i stayed in a motel 6.

Not a good stay
During Checkin the lady behind the counter spoke so fast, she didn’t even make eye contact. She was rude and when asked a question she answered me like I was stupid for asking a question. Room was pleasant and clean but the bathtub didn’t work. The maintenance man was aware but it still hadn’t been fixed. I specifically requested a room with a bath and told the man that if it couldn’t be fixed within 30 minutes Nevermind because I wanted to go to sleep. They called me over an hour later to tell me they couldn’t fix it! Woke me and my daughter up just after we had fallen asleep! We had requested a shuttle and asked what time we had to be down. We were told as long as we were down 5-10 mins before we needed to leave we could take the shuttle. We came down @ 345 and was told we had to wait until 4 am even though the shuttle was parked outside. If we had been told the shuttle leaves every half hour we would have come down earlier! Not a pleasant experience for an Embassy Suites. I expect better
