Clearly could tell this hotel wasn’t ready for full occupancy. No towels in room - none upon check in. Light bulbs missing from lights. Run down furniture. However, Great location as beach was lovely.

Property was in disarray. Dirty, poor management etc. No towels at beach, no replacement wash cloths, sliding glass patio was stuck and coudnt be open, partial ocean view room with no view. Many people upset because rooms were not ready for check in. Terrible.

Fabulous location!!! 100 steps and ur on the beach! Free lounges, umbrellas, and cocktail service. Room fair, kinda outdated but super shower, ok bed comfort. Staff r slow for meals but food was outstanding and they were the nicest staff ever! I will go back

Beautiful and elegant property on the beach. No doubt about it. We loved the views on the beach and the pool/hot tub area was gorgeous. Disappointed there was no fridge/microwave and most importantly no coffee maker in the room. Also no ice bucket or cups in the room—-what? There was complimentary coffee at the bar but they took it away by 9a. Ice water was offered out on the beach area but was not refilled in the evening. The room did not match what was pictured on the listing we booked. Bed did not have a valance and was horribly noisy, sounded like it would crack/break with any slight movement. Hated to complain bc we were in paradise but for people who only do this once in a blue moon we had expected a bit more for an upscale resort.

Nice but needs work
Hotel was nice enough; a little worn and dated in some areas. The room smelled musty. The first day there the hot water boiler broke, so didn’t have hot water for a bit. The phone in the room would just randomly go on speaker mode and start dialing numbers so I unplugged it. The food at Brandon’s is good enough. Pool area was really nice. I think this hotel is doing a good job overall given the Covid situation. It’s definitely overpriced though.

Past it’s prime
To be fair , our stay was tainted by a gas outage the day we arrived so no hot water and no cooked food in the restaurants. This was resolved the next day. That being said - I feel this place is past it’s prime and needs a serious face lift to fit in with the surrounding properties. Peeling paint , running toilet, uncomfortable furniture in the room. Once back in running order the restaurant was very nice; great breakfasts and views were beautiful. Staff was nice and very accommodating.
