This is truly a beautiful hotel. Appointments are exquisite and the staff is the most friendly and helpful I have encountered in years. Room was very nice with incredible extra touches such as heated floor in the bathroom. I cannot recommend Britannia highly enough.

The best hotel in the city, and probably in the country. Exceptional service. The rooms are made up daily and also prepared for the night in the evening, with a bottle of water placed on the bedside table, etc. The breakfast served in the relaxing Palm Court restaurant is the best. The spa area is also highly recommended and offers many excellent treatments, whether you want a massage or simply relax. 10/10 🙂

This was our second time staying at the Britannia, and we enjoy the hotel very much. The service is top-notch and the hotel is located very convenient to shopping and dining. Two things of note - the breakfast is run like a "fine dining" experience, with many staff hovering, and that is not needed - it is a breakfast buffet, show us to our table, serve coffee, and then leave the diners alone. Our main complaint, though, was the Wifi, or lack of Wifi, on the 6th floor. For 3 days we struggled to get a poor Wifi signal and failed. When I asked at the front desk, I was told that "we're having problems with the Wifi on the 6th floor. Really?? At the room prices charged, the Wifi should be lightning quick and always available. I've had better Wifi at a small-town Holiday Inn in the U.S. The Britannia should have an IT staff available 24/7 to fix any Wifi issues at the prices that you charge. Come on, you can do better than that!
