The walls kept cracking all night long and was not able to get a good night sleep. Water pipes or A/C was making the noise.

Hotel seem very nice outside when you enter but the rooms are dirty and noisy. Couldn’t sleep at night due to the noises. Bathroom was not clean and floors were dirty. Bedsheets had blood on them.

Overall clean bedding and towels but some of the surfaces were dusty. Very convenient self park. It was expensive but I think typical for LA. Only big complaints were they left only a half used roll of toilet paper as a spare roll so we ran out, and the tv remote didn’t work at all (perhaps the batteries were dead?). Very good room for the price.

Arrived early. Wasn't trying to check in but let them know I'll need a room towards middle hallway and upper floor. (A recommendation from their IT person. I talked to him 2 days prior because I need internet for work.) The front desk person seemed irritated with me - I just asked he put a note in so it can be considered when assigning my room. When I was assigned my room I was put at the very end of hallway - as expected the wifi had low bars. So I had to have them move me to a different room. So it was obvious the desk person dismissed what I was trying to tell him. The next morning I found the wifi still not sufficient, even with most or all bars. I ran down to the business center. I unplugged their computer from the internet and hard wired my laptop, which is what saved me to be able to work that week. The electrical outlets in that area were locked up and I couldn't plug in a laptop. I did find an outlet that was reachable, so having two laptops I switched back and forth. The extension cord I requested from the hotel never came. But I contacted the IT person after he got in, and he was very quick and responsive. So for those who plan to work remotely using a videoconferencing platform, expect wifi issues, even in the business center. And using one of the two ethernet connections was very stressful because that left only one for the other guests coming and going in the room. As far as the rooms themselves, clean but somewhat outdated, like bathtub stains.

Quality of service varied depending on the individual. Cleanliness of rooms also varied. Prior to me changing hotels I had been placed in rooms where maintenance was required and showers and TVs weren’t working. Disappointing given it’s a four star hotel and the hotel staff didn’t really see it as a problem.
