Lovely hotel with view out on the Laguna Veneta. Best reached by boat. By car or bus Piazalla Roma is the closest, but its a bit of walk if you have suitcases.

It’s a beautiful property with friendly and accommodating staff. There is an on-site restaurant with great food. The property is facing the grand canal, but also has a pretty courtyard backing into a small canal. Overall I’m very pleased to have staid at the hotel. Everything feels fresh and well designed.

Beautiful hotel, however, staff is a little SNOBBISH! This is a beautiful hotel with well decorated rooms in the Dorsoduro region. We had a stunning room, best in the house we were told, with balconies and view of the Giudecca Canal. The breakfast was good, with pastries, fruit, yogurt, mimosa’s, etc. Some of the food was over seasoned with excessive salt, especially the made to order eggs that we had a couple times there. The garden area is beautiful with outdoor sitting. Rooms are very clean, just all around beautiful, well decorated with high ceilings, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. TV would only operate in Italian except for 4 news channels and there was no way you can change the language. We came from staying in Rome in a small boutique hotel, Hotel Martis Palace, and was extremely spoiled with their 5-star staff services. Staff at Hotel Martis Palace, very professional, always smiling, concern about your staff, going to extra mile to make sure your stay was of 5-star service. Not this hotel, IL Palazzo Experimental. This hotel, IL Palazzo Experimental, is new and has a lot of working on to do to reach 5-star staff services as some (not all) of the staff was inconsiderate and snobbish at times. I believe the two young ladies checking us in were extremely surprised when we walked in the hotel as they gave us the impression that we weren’t welcome and that they didn’t want us there. Some of the staff members need to be send to classes on how to treat ALL your

Such a beautiful, stylish place. Was like being in a Wes Anderson movie. Every detail had been so well designed and thought out. Perfect location. Fab breakfast and cocktails. Incredible view from our room. I'd never consider staying anywhere else in Venice. A cut above the rest!

The hotel is beautiful, stylish rooms with views over the canals and a tranquil garden to the rear. The staff are friendly and the bar and restaurant are excellent. This is an excellent hotel.

This hotel has a lovely position, backing onto a quiet canal and facing a busy waterfront lined with restaurants. It's a quieter area of Venice, about ten minutes stroll to the Accademia and a further ten minutes to St Marks. The staff were exceptionally helpful. A big bonus for Venice is a quiet garden with tables and chairs. The room was a good size and comfortable. It didn't have a waterfront or garden view, so if that is important to you it would be best to specify.
