Room with a view
Great view and conveniently located to San Marco Square. Only down side was walls very thin. Can hear neighbors and people outside all night long. In the summer would be very noisy. Staff super friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.

Gorgeous view and great location!
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of September in a junior suite for our 15th anniversary. While the view was breathtaking, the suite was super compact. Apparently there are different sizes of the junior suites and we got one of the smallest ones. Not the kindest from the front desk since we are not small people. The suite was clean and very tastefully decorated with a small bathroom. I would stay here again because of the view and the location. Make sure you book at least a junior suite if you want sufficient space! The breakfast was good too.

Horrible Stay!
This hotel cost us a fortune and it was old, smelly and disgusting! I seriously want some rebate of money from this charge. First of all we entered the front lobby and were told that our room was in another building and to please follow the porter. Not only was it in another building, there was a hotel between the two hotels. The front staff were not that friendly either. Then we had to walk about 100 feet to the NEXT section of this hotel. After we got to our room, the smell of FEET was overwhelming. Obviously these people did not hear of carpet cleaning!!!! The room looked like it came out of 15th century decor and just as old and musty as if it WAS the 15th century. The bathroom was nice but no place around the sink to even put your toothbrush! Most of the desk personnel were snobby except for a lovely Filipino woman in our building. It was very obvious that the people who didn't matter were shoved into another hotel that wasn't fit for people to inhabit. I am not a second class citizen and I didn't appreciate being treated as such. At night, the desk area of "our hotel" was completely abandoned and left alone for anyone to just walk in and do whatever they wanted in the rooms in our building. Talk about feeling unsafe, unwanted, etc. I do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone and I want some kind of compensation for my awful stay there. The breakfast buffet was very nice though. Unfortunately we had to leave for the airport too early in the morning to enjoy it.

Elegant, Convenient Hotel on St. Mark's Basin.
Great location for meeting tours and walking through Venice. Nice hotel. Thrown off a little at first when they walked us from the main entrance to a second entrance off a courtyard around the corner, but the service was elegant and professional. We were in a lovely room looking over the courtyard: Campo San Zaccaria across from a beautiful 15th century church dedicated to St. Zechariah.
