Not very nice
There were cockroaches in our room and it smelled of bug spray. There were mats missing from in front of some doors. The elevator was old and creaky and scared the heck out of me. Not the greatest place and I won't be staying there again.

Gross experience!
I was really disappointed with our room and stay. I typically have a good experience with La Quinta but this location and the room was disgusting. The floors were filty! The towel has dirt on it. We weren't given hotel towels. We were given pool towels with the blue stripe. I went to my car and they're were homeless people and crackheads asking me for change. Several stray cats wandering around the property, sadly. The breakfast in the morning was terrible. I was leaving to Starbucks and asked front desk to take more towels to my husband. She was hesitate and finally said she could do it. I don't recommend anyone stay here unless you're desperate. The photos are deceiving.

Cheap room in Bako
Staff was great, room was rough... definitely get what you pay for realer like smoke. Same ceilings pain and floors since smoking was ok. Non smoking hotel now. Would not recommend unless circumstances warranted. This property had an amazing cantina next door.

Needs updating!!!!!
Not our place to stay. No mention that they were renovating, but weekend was quiet. The carpet was stained, something had been splattered on the window shade, not impressed with the cockroach companion...tub was chipped, toilet paper spindle not there, so paper on back of toilet. Half full shampoo as well as a new one left. Tiny coffee maker and no place to plug in where it sat- had to move and only 1 packet of coffee for 2 people??? No frig? Supposedly non smoking property, saw at least 6 smokers, and one stood right outside our door-cough...!!! Breakfast was so-so, the nook the bread sits in is too small to fit many people at once, so line to get into the area. Decent amount of choices, just hard to get to when crowded. Did like the space of the room, and had a real table with 2 chairs to sit at. Few upgrades- the microwave was good, but overall the furniture was old and needed to be replaced. I'll wait to stay here again until it gets a badly needed renovation.
