    NO FOOD AFTER 9PM HERE!
This was our first trip to Mammoth Lakes and our anniversary. The lady that checked up in Yana, could not have been nicer. She accommodated getting us a room with a view and gave us a complimentary bottle of Champagne. While I was disappointed that it was not actually a "Resort" at least what I was thinking a resort would be. There was a Reggae festival going on in the Village that we attended for a bit then wanted to get dinner. Instead of eating at one of the many restaurant options there, we decided to head back to the "resort" to dine. None of the three restaurants noted are actually attached to the hotel so a bit of walking only to walk into the first restaurant, Rafters at 9:03 only to be told, WE CLOSE OUR KITCHEN AT 9PM. Now there's customer service. Of course we walked across the parking lot to the other restaurants only to be declined. 9pm on a Saturday night in a "Resort" can't get any food. So we spent out money elsewhere. The next morning the bathroom sink was a very slow drain. It appears a complete cosmetic make over was recently completed so it was rather strange to have a slow drain. No coffee in the room? I thought it was suppose to be a "Resort" a Ski Resort and no in room coffee, Wow. Personally, it was over priced for basically nothing more than a regular Quality Inn and at least a Quality Inn has coffee in the room. I will return to Mammoth Lakes but will find other accommodations.

    Excellent
Fantastic property. It is an older hotel, but many updates allow for comfort AND nostalgia. Many amenities games, pool, hot tub, billiards, and a wonderful great room in the lobby area. Coffe and water fresh and available 24 hours. Bar in lobby and restaurants on the property. Mammoth Lakes is a beautiful town with many opportunities. Would definitely stay again.

The overall look of the hotel was a bit old however the room looked as if it had been updated some. We tried using the very large jacuzzi but the water was lukewarm. They turned the heat on but told us it would take an hour to heat. The shower drain, in the room backed up during our shower. We were only there for one night so it served its purpose but we probably wouldn’t go back.

    Good stay, good rate.
Great place, reasonable prices and decent accommodations. Bus/Trolly close to the Village and mountain. I would stay again, no question.

    Mammoth
Near enough to the ski slope. No table and chair in room. Not great insulation because the TV from the room next door was so loud. Towels had low thread count. Felt wet even though the towel was completely dry
