Nasty and gross place.
We can’t stay in this place. Was nasty, gross, smelled so bad, even the bathroom at the lobby was broken. The service at the front desk was horrible. That place gave to be shut down ASAP. Was a very bad experience. We left with right away and don’t have my money back 😡 I wasted my money.

The room was very spacious which was nice. However the toilet ran which made the shower temperature fluctuate (very hot and very cold) my husband was able to fix the toilet. There was a light bulb out which we asked to be fixed and they said they would fix but never did. The breakfast did not have juice each morning. One of the steps was broken off at the edge which could have led to an accident during the night had we not noticed during the day when we first got there.

Never stay at La Quinta, Reno
We were exhausted after a long day of traveling or we would not have stayed. Large dark spots on dark carpet, a recliner you wouldn’t want to touch for filth, a shower full of pink mildew, and dirt in all the corners! The bed was comfortable and the only thing we were willing to touch. We slept and left at 9 AM on the following morning even though our reservation was for 3 nights! Overpriced for value. Shameful to rent a room in that condition!! In an industrial area with freeway noise through the night! No amenities! No grocery or restaurants nearby. TV remote had dead batteries so TV wouldn’t work, but this was fixed easily by the manager. When we said we were leaving because of the disgusting filth, they said we were canceling with less than 24 hours notice and would be charged for that night! I will dispute the charge for cause and plan to write a letter to Wyndam.

We have stayed at this property many times in the last couple of years, this visit we had an issue with the TV that was not resolved for about 3 hours and we did not have a trash can in the room until I ask for one. Once these 2 items were corrected we had a pleasant stay. The noise in the area is very minimal even though it is close to the highway. I would recommend staying here the staff is pleasant and did correct the problems we had this visit.

Get in together LaQuinta
After checking in discovered that the room keys didn't work, went back to the desk and was given new cards, still didn't work, walked back again having to wait in line each time and overheard that 2 separate other customers had issues also, one was given keys to an already occupied room, and the other couldn't access their room due to a system malfunction that said the room was vacant even though they had already been in it for 1 day and their belongings were still inside, my third set of keys also did not work and maintenance determined it was a problem with the door lock and so i was given a new room, all this process caused me to be late for an important meeting, the room was fine but initially smelled off like it had potentially been previously smoked in, not terrible but not great, not sure what the system and communication problems were exactly, but very disappointing start when i was on a tight schedule already and 40min should have been plenty of time to check in and get me to my meeting on time, normally i wouldn't even be angry about anything like this happening but timing was terrible for me have a less than stellar check in experience this time and it appears there are chronic problems with this hotel based only off my one experience
