The hotel had two restaurants. I I didn't like how small the rooms wre. The bathtub looked strained yellow on the walls. The floor had stains from dirt and grime.

Great location. Decent room. Great bar on premises. Horrible shower; too small and no water pressure and took forever to heat up.

The Sandman was a big disappointment. We had two rooms and, upon arrival, discovered that the bed in one of the rooms was soaked. The next morning, I discovered a leak in the ceiling of the room I was in (the adjoining room). There are not enough elevators for the facility when it is full; close to a 12 minute wait for the elevator. One of the elevators didn’t work on a Saturday evening. Moxie, one of the restaurants, was way overpriced for what they served and the staff were not very courteous. We will be returning to Vancouver again next year, but we won’t be staying at the Sandman.

It was very close to where needed to be. Clean. And very comfy bed. I wish I had known parking was $25.00 per night before I booked. But I think this is normal for major cities.

Room wasn’t as expected & am pretty sure it was a smoking room. Had an odor which wasn’t strong in the room but all my clothes reek after being in the room a week.

Poor 2.0
It was very very noisy from construction. And very unsanitary. Not the everyday things, the maids did fine. The refrigerator we requested was very dirty. It had to be cleaned before we could use it. The tub was very stained so appeared dirty. And not inviting to use. The staff was great at the desk and the maid we had was nice. We forgot to leave a tip for her, I’m sorry.

Nice place
Great place for an over night stay. Room was pretty small it was Our first time in Vancouver so i am not sure if that is a standard size. It was cozy the bed area was tucked around the back corner of the room so you are away from outside hall noise. Had breakfast at the hotel restaurant Moxies it was very good.

The room was good, we had a great view in a corner room. Only issue we had was the elevators are very slow and only 2 for the north building. Room was in an excellent location to attend the hockey game. Only a 2 block walk.

The pool is a major part of our family trip and the hot tub was not working. Good location, fantastic service and the restaurant in the hotel was excellent

There was only 1 elevator working, waiting 15 minutes for it was very disappointing as we were on the 11th floor. There was mold around the windows and lots of pigeon poop as well with a gap between 2 of the single panes. Staff treated us well and the location was central to downtown.
