First time to anchorage for sightseeing
Sightseeing trip with my adult son. It was a nice, clean, comfortable hotel. I didn’t get a water view room like I booked but still a nice room. Food and drink at the hotel was pricey but other options walking distance.

Lovely stay, very conveinent.
The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable, the location was perfect for walking anywhere downtown. The shops were fun and the restaurants had great food options. I enjoyed learning about Captain Cook while roaming the halls and the overall look of the hotel gave it a lot of personality, a memorable visit! The only downside was that I had trouble staying cool at night, the mattress held heat and even with the window open and the ceiling fan on, I'd wake up too warm during the night. Otherwise, it was a ideal hotel.
