Difficult check in, but excellent beds
We were exhausted after traveling more than twelve hours. When we got there at 2:30 or so in the morning, the night auditor could not find our reservation. We had the confirmation in our phones, but apparently that is not enough if it doesn't show in their system. She was frazzled and wasn't sure what to do. We suggested that she calls Hotels.com, which she proceeded to do. Even after she spoke with the Hotels.com representative and received a faxed copy of the reservation (already paid for and all) she still worried that it wasn't showing in her system. Finally had the idea to give us a room and let the manager deal with it when she came in later. (I kept thinking this would be the solution all throughout but she was so frazzled the whole time, mentioning she was new, etc., that I just let her work it out on her own). So it was a very lengthy check in process when we were feeling sick with exhaustion, but the room was very clean and the beds were amazing, so we got a good rest. Breakfast was included although not that great.

We needed an upgrade due to poor air conditioning. Mary from front desk was excellent. Had us in a new err oomph very quickly.

Stay away from this place!
We arrived at 12:30 am after 13 hours on the road. Once we finally got all our things in the room, we discovered that the air conditioner unit wasn't working correctly. The fan would not come on. We tried to call down to the front desk, but the phone in our room was dead. The road noise was horrible from the highway. We were offered at box fan. We requested another room and it's fan wasn't working either. We barely slept due to the noise. During my shower, water pooled up on the floor and got everything wet. I tried my best, but the shower curtain was barely 1 inch longer than the top of the tub, so it kept pulling toward the shower stream and sticking on my skin, all the while letting water run onto the floor. When I tried to blow dry my hair, my hair dryer plug kept pulling out of the outlet on the wall. So did my curling iron. The outlet was horrible. The front desk staff in the morning was very rude. They could have cared less about our experience. We had booked the hotel for 3 more nights, but I just wanted to cancel and find another place. Because we had booked through Hotels.com, we had to go through them. The hotel went ahead and cancelled, but charged us for a second night due to the late canceling. The Hampton Inn's motto is, if you aren't satisfied, you don't pay. Well, they sure made us pay. I couldn't wait to get out of the hotel. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Weekend Get Away
Room was very clean and nice a/c in room. Breakfast was very nice. First night we were there the hot tub was cold. The second night it was hot and the jets quit working. Other than that is was great. Easy check in and out. Clean and friendly. We will stay here again.
