Just bring a portable charger! Stay here
The hotel itself is beautiful, historic, and close to everything. Only downside is —there are not many outlets as we are used to having. I guess people didn’t charge their phones as much on 1928. Lol. Would definitely stay there again!

Charm and comfort and convenience
On the road over 150 nights a year for our work and often relying on chains that are close to the site, we love using quaint, historic, boutique places for pleasure travel. What a great place this was - convenient to everything, fairly priced, charming. Every single staff member was excellent including valets, front desk and concierge, housekeepers and wait staff. Room was not fussy, nicely decorated with high quality bedding and towels, coffee maker, fridge, flat screen tv, desk, closet area. Bathroom was sparkling with great shower and good pressure. Heat worked very well and quietly. My only challenge was the lighting; bedside lights not really good enough for comfortable reading, and applying makeup in the bathroom was hit-or-miss. Hallways and lobby areas are also very nice, everything understated but elegant. We enjoyed two evenings in the bar/lounge area (separate review) and had a casual breakfast in the adjacent bistro-style cafe. Valet parking available for $37 per night with in-and-out option; self-park was less but without option. Garage only a block away and also with a great staff. We would be happy to stay here again.

Rainy stay
We enjoyed our weekend stay very much, though it rained all weekend. We walked everywhere including a visit to the aquarium and inner harbor. We enjoyed the hotel brunch on Sunday morning and the wait staff was very pleasant and attentive. The only negative comment I have is about the lighting in our room. It was very dimly lit especially the bathroom making it very hard to put on make up and see your hair.

Delightful and relaxing stay
On the road over 150 nights a year for our work, and needing to utilize whatever is closest to the job, we love to stay in boutique and interesting hotels when our travel is for pleasure (we've seen it all). This place is a gem. Service was impeccable, above and beyond expectations: valets, front desk, concierge, housekeeping, wait staff, bartenders all get A-plus from us. Room was simple and had just enough including coffee-maker and fridge, flat screen tv with good channel selection, darkening curtains, sumptuous bedding and king-sized pillows. Bathroom also just perfect with good water pressure and crazy-nice towels. Decor throughout is understated, elegant and un-fussy. My only minor complaint is so-so lighting. Bedside lamps not really good for reading, and putting on makeup in the bathroom was a challenge. Otherwise, no issues. We opted for self-parking which is a block away; valet also available for higher rate but in-and-out options. Meals and cocktails available on site (a different review). Highly recommend.
