Great (but small) space with all the mod. cons.
This hotel is recently revamped in the quiet part of the back bay but close to everything. It is stylish, but very small. Great for an overnighter or if you're just using the hotel to sleep (great bed) and shower (great toiletries). 6 USB ports by the side of the bed! In room coffee. Bikes to borrow.

Fun and funky hotel
The Alise is a new hotel and they have not completed the remodel, including the lobby and hallways. That being said, it was a very nice place and the rooms were definitely new. The TV was very large and bed very comfortable. They don't have a desk nor do they have a mini fridge but I did appreciate the umbrella available for use as well as the robe and slippers. The vibe is hip and fun and they have a nice neighborhood restaurant/bar just next door called the Trophy Room which was convenient. You could hear when other people took showers in the morning as it's an old building. The staff were fantastic, happy to offer suggestions to restaurants and attractions and clearly loved where they worked.

A Great Stay
Had a great time at the hotel. They've done a wonderful job in the transition of the property. Staff was highly attentive and very friendly. As an example- The A/C in my room was not working, upon alerting the staff, a member came up to try and repair the unit. Unable to do so, they moved me to the adjoining room very quickly.
