It was ok
This was a family trip to San Diego I was expecting more cleanliness in the room. Bed was comfortable maybe a warmer blanket would do.

Not friendly n professional hotel
I gave my son n family a trip to celebrate my granddsughter’s bday. From day one the staff are not professionsl. I sent the authorization form authorizing the hotel to get sll expenses from my card. No reply whether they received or not, called them and the lady said they don’t reply. Hilton Los Angeles sent me confirmation n a welcome letter. Upon checking in my son told me n after talking to hilton staff they ssid they need actusl card and they dont accept authorization card. Aldo service was poor, the door knob was fell off and other problems. Not a nice place to stay. My granddaughter told me she doesnt like the hotel but loves Hilton Los Angeles. If staff are professional and friendly n accommodating, it leaves a lasting of good impression and not a bad one

I was very disappointed with this stay. There wad one gentleman handling the bell desk and valet - on a holiday weekend. Housekeeping did not come to my room until 4:00pm after I had returned from a full day out. I left the hotel at 9:00 in the morning. I had added a second night to my itinerary but the front desk was not able to set my room key for both nights. Finally, when I requested change for a twenty so I could tip the valet they gave me four fives leaving me no choice but to leave a higher tip than I normally would. I am not cheap but I did tip each time I left the property so five dollars was a bit high

Just OK
Placed me in a very noisy room next to elevator and on the highway side.

The Service at the Polanco can be upgraded with higher quality service with people who are actually eager to do their jobs. The Maid Staff was also lacking in the evening, as they went home in the early evening. So, if you needed something in the evening like a clean up you had to do it yourself. The example is my daughter got sick from the milk she drank and had an incident. I had to clean it up myself with the towels we had and used some of the shampoo provided by the hotel. Lastly, the hotel was being used as a party spot on a Sunday by some individuals who just wanted to get loose. I don't mind but kinda tough when I have my daughter & with me. They kept us up all night on and off, and the hotel didn't do anything about it.
