Great Place to Stay
I always enjoy staying at this Doubletree by Reid Park. It is close to restaurants, and shopping. They have a wonderful large pool, too. You can also enjoy walking at Reid Park.

Fell short of my expectations
I expected a little more with it being a "Hilton" property, I felt like I was at Motel 6

Early morning construction noise
The construction crew working on property was allowed to start jack hammering concrete at 7 am, other than the rude wake up, id give this place 4.5/5

Nice will be back again
The front desk staff was great as was the housekeeping staff. One issue we encountered was the runny toilet and clogged bathtub. Other than that the room was clean and we had plenty of towels. The front desk comped us with the breakfast buffet which was good. Conveniently located near the university of Arizona. A little pricey but will definitely be back in the fall.

WiFi Poor. Shuttle Slow. Pool Under Remodel.
Specifically didn't use AirBnB this trip because my wife wanted to have spa access. Upon arrival was told that pool and spa were closed for renovation. Major disappointment. Especially since used hotel.com filter to include spa/hottub. Checked into room and it was clean and advertised with a nice patio out to the courtyard. Decided to head for dinner and was told that shuttle service was provided within 3 miles and to use it instead of Uber. We did. Ride to dinner was great as good as any Uber. However, when it came time for pickup we call for ride. Was told 15 minute wait. 30 minutes later called and they said would be a few more minutes. 45 minutes later called and they said should be there any minute. An hour later we just took an Uber that arrived in 2 minutes. In theory this service would be fabulous, but in practice its terrible. It was prom at the hotel that night and very busy. Maybe that is what got them out of sorts. Stay was good and checkout simple. All staff were friendly. The WiFi was free, but terrible. No cellular service in the hotel either. Basically avoid at all costs if you are a business traveler or need internet.
