WORST SERVICE EVER
I stayed there for some nights in JUNE and I regret it so much! Checked in on Friday night and everything seemed alright, but on Saturday evening, we noticed just 1 elevator was working, the place had events, some kind of wedding or convention, so it was clearly packed so we had to wait around 10 min each time we wanted to go to our room, or go to the lobby. That sucks, but it could happen to any hotel. Then on Sunday we came back after working around midnight (we are photographers so we had gear with us) and after waiting for the elevator for about 10 min and go to the room, we realized that the key was not working. So I called them to come to open for us and they said: NO! we don't have you credit card on file so you have to come to the lobby to give it to us. I had to leave my wife with our gear in the hall. and go down... again, like 7 minutes and when i got there i explained them: I checked in on Friday and gave you my credit card! how come on Sunday you say you don't have my credit card on file? They said that it was not their fault, that was the system, but i told them that they could have called me when they knew, so i could do this as soon as I got there to the hotel, instead of have to go all the way to the room (specially with the elevator malfunction) to realize we couldn't go into our room. They called to "apologize" but guess what, first, they actually kept trying to justify the way they handle this. One thing for sure,I will never stay in this hotel ever!

While this hotel might be fine for others, it’s just not my cup of tea. First, my key card wouldn’t work, which, okay, not a big deal, errors happen and it got fixed quickly. The plumbing in the bathroom seems a little slow; the sink and shower took a little while to drain and the toilet was slow to fill up. The bottom sheet on the bed had some sort of stain, but I was too exhausted to wait for someone to come change it. So, maybe check the sheets first before you become too tired to care. There were strange noises; it sounded like something was hitting the window or something even though I was on an upper level. The air conditioner is very loud every time it comes on. If you’re like me, and are sensitive to light and sound when trying to sleep, I don’t recommend one of these rooms. Granted, they do provide earplugs, but I was unable to use them. For stomach sleepers, the mattress and pillows are not advised. The mattress is much too soft and the pillows too thick for people who sleep on their stomachs (the minority?). If however, none of the above mentioned things seem like they would bother you, you could stay here.

They treat you well.
I had a great stay at this hotel, and it's because of the way they treated me. When I checked in, I noticed that my room was having a minor plumbing problem (a dripping tub faucet), so I let them know about it. They were as nice as could be, scheduled the repair around my schedule, and cleaned up after themselves so the only way I knew work had been done was that the problem was gone. They checked in afterwards to make sure everything was fine. I'm a late riser on vacation, and so I've had problems at other hotels with not being able to take advantage of the daily housekeeping: by the time I'm out the door in the morning, they're past my floor. Not with this hotel! I put the do-not-disturb sign out, took it down when I left for the day, and came back to find everything done. And everything was clean and nice. Coffee-making supplies replenished, etc. Their king rooms are great--get one on one of the corners (and high up!) if you can; you'll have a great view. A previous reviewer said something about a musty smell. I noticed nothing, and I'm pretty sensitive to that stuff. It may be room-specific? Note: if you're allergic to feather pillows, they do use those (plus down comforter) here, but they have the usual polyester stuff available if you ask. I discovered they used feather while trying to figure out why my nose was stuffy at 2 AM. They brought me a non-feather pillow without complaint (at 2 AM). They're just nice.

Will never return or refer
Room was not ready at check-in time. We were told we could check in at 3:00. We arrived a little early at 2:30 so we were prepared to wait at least 30 minutes to check in. We had reserved a Junior Suite because we had a grandchild staying with us. We were told that our room's air conditioner was not working. They asked if we wanted to move to a King room, which we declined because we needed the extra room for wedding preparation and couldn't downsize. The Receptionist told us that they would have a room for us in 30 - 45 minutes (which would have been around 3:00 - 3:15) and would call us when it was ready. At 4:00 p.m. I still had not heard from hotel, called and explained that we needed to get in a room ASAP. I was put on hold, and while waiting on hold someone called my daughter's room and said they would bring up a key for a Junior suite they had ready. Another 10 - 15 minutes later they delivered a key. We were in town for daughter's wedding and had to be at event at 4:30. This was a very stressful experience. To make matters worse, when we went to the parking garage to leave, big chunks of concrete from the ceiling in the parking garage had fallen next to our vehicle and other cars' wheels were throwing the chunks into our vehicle. The whole hotel smelled damp and musty.

Stolen items, Bad experience, two drinks
I have stayed at this property several times over the past 20 years, and most experiences have been excellent. The last few stays have been okay, but this stay has turned me off from ever staying there again either for family events or business. The hotel was severely under staffed, and our suite was turned once over 3 days, but it was never cleaned. We had to clean the room before our guest arrived for the lunch we provided, and later that night, we had to clean before we went to bed taking out trash and wiping down counter area so we could provide breakfast in the morning. The other issue, even more problematic, was the suite is located directly behind the elevators. I asked if there was another suite, but they said there were none available. We heard traffic well into the morning, and did not sleep on our third night. It was hard to believe they placed a suite in such a poor location. In one of the other rooms we booked, items went mysteriously missing, and we had to call the police because the hotel was not acting fast enough. Still waiting for this to be resolved. Regardless of the situation the staff immediately offered; "two free drinks at the bar" (Bad room, two drinks; no maid service, two drinks; stolen items two drinks, not hearing from the manager two drinks). When I tried to resolve this matter, the hotel management refused to cooperate with Hotels.com.
