Nice motel.
Very nice with good appointments in the room. The room did not have a closet so they had a wardrobe. This made the room very crowded.

We found the staff friendly, the facility clean (my husband used to work in a hotel, believe me, we are both the first to notice if corners are cut in this area...we didn't see any). The room was comfortable, well appointed, relatively recently updated, with some thoughtful inclusions including enough electrical outlets in place for today's electronics, at the bedside for phones to be plugged in and on top of the desk for the traveler who has a computer. Individual reading lights built into the headboard made sleeping without disturbing your bedmate read easy, nice touch. The room layout gives it away as an older hotel, but when they upgraded it, they even addressed things like moving the shower head up, as in they probably upgraded the plumbing, instead of just dressing it up, something I find is often an issue in older hotels that have been renovated. Being 6 feet tall, and having stayed in many hotels over the years, one of my pet peeves is having to tilt my head back at an awkward angle to wash my hair, because the 70s era shower heads aim for the shoulders. Not a problem here. Also good water pressure and adequate hot water. Nicely done. Free breakfast, pretty standard, again, area kept clean, according to my husband...the one morning we were there for breakfast, I went Black Friday shopping, so missed out. The next morning, we slept in and had brunch with family before going home, so didn't partake.

Minor issues with cable/TV service. A little frustrating. Everything else great.

Great place for the money, but a few problems
Overall was a great place for the money. Clean and comfortable. A few comments: Way too much use of room deodorizer in the room. Clearly housekeeping sprayed carpet or drapes. Had to leave door open for about 3-4 hours to get rid of smell. Thank God I brought my inhalers. "Fresh" scent does not equate with clean. Stop over doing it. Second of all, this is a very noisey place due to its proximity of the freeways; can hear traffic all night long. Plus the 18 wheelers that park adjacent to parking lot are noisy. There was a continual, regular pounding all night long every 20-30 minutes every night. No clue what it was but very annoying.
