Would not recommend.
Rough on edges. Old. Poor upkeep of grounds. Don’t let the pictures fool you. Bathroom was very rough. Toilet barely flushed. Door was dirty. Furniture was beat up pretty bad. On the brighter side, the TV worked and the bed was very comfortable. I was expecting better.

The person running the desk when we checked in was ultimately very helpful when I had to call the front desk because there was a literal bed bug by mine and my girlfriends heads. He was very apologetic, and immediately switched us to a different room and called the owner to inform him what was going on. I know, I know - why didn’t we check out and go somewhere else. It was Labor Day weekend, and this was one of the few places in our budget that had openings. So we took the new room and immediately stripped the bed and combed the entire room to make sure there weren’t any more nasty little surprises. There weren’t. Except that the shower barely drained, and the toilet barely flushed at all. The following day I talked to the owner, who basically just told me how good of a hotel this was, and blamed it on a guest that must have used that room before us. And his accommodation was “half off the next stay at their hotel if I go in the next 6 months”. I was also charged the amount I owed for the 3 night stay twice. It was fixed as soon as I called about it. The next day? I had a charge of an additional $200’s, which threw me into overdraft. I had to call my bank and essentially wait to see if the charge fell off. It did by the next day. Aside from the few excellent staff members, not a place I will EVER go back to. I’d sooner sleep in my car.
