The check-in experience was rather unpleasant - the staff was very cold and did not even smile despite the fact that we were both beaming upon arrival. When the staff was quietly and slowly doing whatever he needs to do on his computer, I asked about the business networking space advertised on their internet (the very reason why I booked this hotel as I had a business meeting on one of those days). The staff, Yaz responded that there's no meeting rooms... (And did not even make any eye contact when he responded ) and I responded that it's one of the facilities advertised on their website. He didn't pay any attention to me so I had to look it up and show him their own website. He then finally responded.."oh you mean The Den" (as if I'm meant to remember the room's name..) And was advised that this is only for executive rooms (I missed that fine print on their website..) Only upon request that he was obliged to call his manager to find out the cost of using the room. Not able to answer any of my questions, the line manager came out to take my questions and said as a second option, I can use their meeting rooms (despite the fact that Yaz told me they haven't got any) but he has no idea how much it will cost - only his sales team does... And when asked when they will give me a response, the manager replied that he has no idea but I should expect an answer at least 24 hours later (by which time I will be checking out...).

Poor 2.0
Ridiculous bad services during the stays
I had a very bad experience in this so called "4 star" hotel. I paid all the breakfasts for 5 people for the stays during check-in. The day morning I went to the restaurant for breakfast, the waiter ask me to leave the restaurant saying i didnt pay for the breakfast. I asked him to check the payment record. Then he rudely replied in front of all the customer saying no payment have been made. I felt so offensive i did pay. But at the end this hotel made me feel like i am a thief. When they found out the payment record no one apologize to me about what the waiter did. No one even responsible for his bad service to a customers. I had the restaurant manager came out and explain this situation to him. Even the manager didnt really wanna solve this problem. He is not well trained. Not professional at all. This hotel i will no longer go anymore. I blacklist this hotel for the rest of my life. Totally disappointed and ridiculous services i ever had.

Very Good 8.0
Love the newness of the hotel - it was only 3 months old the day I checked in. Self service laundrette and microwave/kitchenette in room was a win to family travellers. Pool was fantastic! Room doors do not slam when closing so minimal distraction from other stayers coming and going. Reasonable noise protection from the corridors. The only thing I wasn’t satisfied was the slamming of toilet and shower glass doors within the room, so I was actually disturbed bymy own family members paying their nightly visit to the loo! Wish the hotel can do sth to slow down the closing of these glass doors so they won’t slam. We checked in our one room out of two with a strange smell, called guest service who sent someone up quickly and pointed out it was durian smell! Changed our room swiftly. Thanks to the helpful guest service team! My mom didn’t like the critical attitude she was told off wearing her hiking sandals in the gym, when next day she actually spotted another guest running bare-foot on the treadmill, haha!

Very Good 8.0
Good hotel- poor staff attitude.
The condition of the room was very good and the location was great- close to the tourist areas. The only thing was that upon check in, the staff at the counter was very very impolite and made the first impression of the hotel bad. She ignored customers and took her own sweet time doing i dont know what and was very rude in the service and body language. However, all the male staff at the first floor who welcomed us and guided us to the second floor (checkin counter) were very friendly and nice. Overall its just the female staff that checked me in that made it a bad experience for me and my mother.

Exceptional 10.0
Great place to stay, mediocre service
Room and facilities were beautiful, but staff was not particularly service oriented. We arrived at 2:45, being told that we would be able to check in from 2PM onwards. When we arrived however, we were told that our room was not ready yet, and proceeded to wait in the lobby for 15 minutes whilst the staff looked into the issue. During this time we could visibly see three staff members chatting to one another and laughing, whilst the staff member who was supposed to be looking into our issue eagerly served another customer. This was extremely frustrating following a long-haul flight. Furthermore, although the room and facilities were beautiful, service improvements would really make a difference.
