Clean but outdated bathroom.
The room was clean and a nice size. My only issue was the bathroom which was very outdated. Also there was no fan in the bathroom, which I feel is essential when traveling with a companion.

Value Manhattan hotel
Stayed here twice recently, very nice hotel for the price, big room, some of the rooms have been renovated and are very good value. Great area near Central Park and lots of restaurant options close by, only drawback was the lack of free wifi but with Starbucks and the NYC Link stations that wasn't much of a problem.

Very Good!
This hotel is an older property, but having said that it was very clean and in a great great location! When I checked in I was greeted by people who are absolutely lovely and professional and sweet. The bellman was lovely and helpful. I would definitely stay there again!

Loved Salisbury
The location is perfect. I stayed at Salisbury with my 8 & 9 year olds. They easily walked to and through Central Park (2 blocks away) and also to Times Square. The Subways are within 1/2 block. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived late and Paul took the time to see how late Angelo's (great Italian restaurant next door) was open. Paul called my room to let me know we only had 15 minutes to get a table. The room is a little older but clean and comfortable. Without children I would absolutely stay again. They only reason I wouldn't is because there was no fridge, which made it difficult with the kids.

This hotel really has to go through a renovation. Everything from the tiles in the bathroom to the doors to the furniture is old - from the 1950's. This is not a bad hotel if you want to consider it a "self-serve" hotel. No valet parking, no breakfast just a best and bathroom.
