Close to Doug Fir Lounge
Price is a little high for a basic motel with no breakfast, but it's less a block from the Doug Fir lounge, so if you're in the area for a show it's well worth having a close place to stay. Guys at the counter was very friendly. Plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walk.

Friendly Front Desk and Affordable Mid-Week Price.
I mean, okay. It's not like the hotel was dangerous or overtly gross in any particular way. I was checked in by a very friendly and accommodating front desk person. The free wi-fi was easy to connect and gave me no trouble whatsoever on any of the 3 devices I was using. But. . The place is a bit old, and as such, it's a little run down. The towels were scratchy. The walls were thin. The floor just inside the doorway creaked like I might actually be at risk of falling through to the first floor. And there was some kind of parking lot construction happening starting obscenely early the next morning. To be fair, it was a cheap price and I got the rest and the hot shower I needed during my stay with several episodes of Hillbillies making moonshine as an unexpected bonus. It ain't the Sheraton, but it'll keep you safe, warm, and secure when that's what you need.

Everything very good to great except bathroom needs updating.

Check in super easy. parking lot well lit. location was prime for what we wanted. The room was good, but the bathroom needed help. toilet ran a lot after flushes and the shower was super dark. great water pressure and temps. Could have used a couple more pillows. This area can get loud at night. Understand that a late night club is in the parking lot, and it was NYE. We stayed in room 208 which was next to an access hallway.
