    So-so 2 night stay
Not great, but okay. So-so. Too much bad...not so much good. Stay again? Maybe.

booked a room for our anniversary
We booked a premium corner king room, spend the extra couple of bucks and book this room. The view from the higher floors are amazing. The bed was so comfortable! The bathroom was nice and you get bath and body works toiletries! The location is great, so much to do on Fremont. Although I would steer clear from White Castle!

If you want sleep, do not book here
Room accommodations are everything so when I booked a king bed, I was expecting a king bed. I cancelled with 2 other hotels and chose The D because we wanted the downtown experience and heard good things about it. Got there to check in and the guy gives us our room keys and we go up to the 17th floor and open the door and it’s 2 double beds! My hubby is 6’4” so a king would have been perfect. When we called down to the check in desk we were told that we would have to pay to upgrade to a king room. What? I’ve already clearly overpaid my $500 to stay here and now I’d have to pay more? No thanks. What irks me the most, is the guy at check in didn’t even mention anything about having 2 double beds. Didn’t even offer the upgrade then. Never again.
