Everyone was so welcoming! They gave us a cold towel and green tea you arrival to check in. The onsen was an amazing experience and so peaceful and relaxing, you couldn't tell you were in the middle of the city. Lovely little place to stay. Love the tea room ryokan theme. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a lovely traditional Japanese breakfast. Probably one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Even went home with a little polaroid photo of my self in front of the building. If you have the money it's definitely worth the experience.

Amazing ryokan tucked away behind Senso-ji. Such friendly people Comfortable, quaint, cosy tea house feel with every attention to detail. Delicious breakfast and best of all access to a private rooftop onsen. The perfect place to end a fabulous trip and this will be my preferred Tokyo accommodation for future trips.

Asakusa is very tourist friendly with a beautiful temple within walking distance. Kitchen street is also perfect for shopping kitchenware. The hot tub is time alotted and private which offers a beautiful view of the Tokyo skytree. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bathrooms were large and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and accomodating.

8/10 Very good

Property was very clean and the staff were very nice. We enjoyed the daily breakfast. Our room had a private onsen bath which was very small, not big enough for 2 person to enjoy at the same time. The room was traditional but not comfortable.

Amazing place to stay! With staff that really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, and a beautifully calm atmosphere, this ryokan is an absolute must for any trip to Tokyo. It was my second time staying here and I'd absolutely return here any time I'm fortunate enough to return to Tokyo. Additionally, the breakfast is the best meal I had my entire trip - its simple ingredients executed to perfection, and such a comforting meal to start the day. No idea how this place could possibly improve!
