    Nice enough
    I enjoyed the room. I was a little surprised that there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. With Covid, there was no breakfast and the hotel store was extremely limited in food choices for snacks or breakfast items.

    Nice Hotel
    The front desk man was extremely nice and pleasant to work with, I wish I could remember his name. He recommended a wonderful place to eat. He made sure we had an extra blanket and we were happy with everything. I would stay here again just because of that! Very pretty lobby and nice room. A little disappointed with the size of the beds. I had two adults and three children and we barely fit. I don't think they were actually Queen sized beds. My daughter had to sleep on the floor. I did like the fact of the private free parking and entrance to the hotel, that was nice. Felt very safe in the parking garage.

    Questionable cleanliness
    Felt safe at check-in and in the parking lot on my own. Room was comfortable with a good mattress and pillows but I wasn’t happy with the cleanliness, particularly with the bathroom. Glass shelves were dusty, The metal rack under the sink was also dusty. The sink, tub counter appeared clean. Leather desk chair had all kinds of crud stuck in the folds and was quite disgusting. I wouldn’t have used it unless absolutely necessary. Super glad I had bleach wipes with me to clean every surface possible.

    Too pricey for what you get
    The place is really old. The staff were pleasant enough but I paid a hefty price and it was pretty bad. The mattresses were very thin old and springy. They had no bed bug protector on the mattress and no fitted sheets so the sheets just slipped right off. I’ve never experienced this before. The toilet was broken and the water overflowed a bit the first time my son tried to use it. The shower handle was slimy, almost like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last person had used it With conditioner and it was never properly cleaned (or at all). With Covid issues that’s bad in my book. Especially since they offered none of what they offered online and didn’t update. No pool access, no breakfast, and no gym. The only pro was that the ppl were decent and friendly enough.

    Hidden gem (literally)
    The hotel was really nice. It was a tad hard to find but that’s not too big of a deal. My only issue I had was the tub faucet ran while the shower was supposed to be working. Other than that I enjoyed my stay greatly.

    Windows that open are a must in this pandemic. The hotel windows are not able to open. Smells musty, old building. Would not stay again.

    Not marriott group level of comfort
    First the hotel is really really old. They had two elevators, one was broken while the other glitched a lot and I just used the stairs to my room in 4th floor instead of waiting. The hotel room was clean and nice but when I made the coffee using the hotel coffee machine , the cream was already curdled which means that it has never been replaced for a while. The directions inside the building needed to be clear as well. It was good stay but they seriously need to update their facilities get the Marriott experience . It was definitely a bummer.
