Never again
It is cheap and centrally located. This is all. We definitely DO NOT recommend this place. Where shall I Start? We booked online a specific room. When we arrived we were told that it is already taken „as the rule is First come First Served“. The place now seems to be run by Andre, a Young Guy who Loves to watch Netflix and Play the Guitar the whole day. He insisted that we pay the 3 Nights all immediately and in cash. „You Can Go to Town to an ATM if you dont have enough cash“, so his Message. And this Late in the evening After a Trans-atlantic flight where you just want one Thing: a bed. Luckily for him that we paid the 3 nights, otherwise we would have left after 1. So we had a different room than the one we booked. It was old and used and not clean at all, the bed and linen was grey, the waterbowl in the bath brocken. We just got 1 towel for 2 persons, besides the one lying around which was obviously used already. In the confirmation it said „cleaning every day“. After 2 days with no cleaning, we asked for it. „If you Really insist“ was the answer. Yes we did. But it did not help. After 3 days we left, it has Never been cleaned, the dust bin besides the toilet where you put all your used toiletpaper has Never been emptied and was more than full. „We did not have keys to Go into your room to clean it“ was the response. HAHA, I hate to be lied to and treated as if I was stupid. Maybe we should have Paid attention that this is a HOSTEL not a HOTEL. Worst nights in CR
