O.K. but not what I'm used to for the price
***Caveat: I stayed here during a July heat wave and am not used to the high heat - high humidity of Chicago, the congested driving, and the excessive street noise.*** The staff is very friendly and helpful, however the room was not very comfortable though it was kept very clean. There were repairs underway in the stairwell; I had to cross through to get to my room, and the smell was very noxious. It's an old building, which seems typical for the area, with an old building layout and old building plumbing. The "continental breakfast" was just coffee, juice & commercial mini-muffins; however there are ample places to eat all around. Very dog friendly and a good location & reasonable price for the location and purpose of my trip. My take-away is I'm used to a little more bang for my buck; but I suspect this is probably very typical for this area - Chicago is very over priced in general.

Great location, safe area, with food delivery
I’d never visited Chicago and envisioned immediately getting nailed by a stray bullet or being poisoned by the tap water on day one. But that didn’t happen and I want to thank the Inn at Lincoln Park for their decent service, adequate room, and alright accommodations. The room I chose was their cheapest one, and it was solidly ok. The bed was a small one, I think a queen? Seemed short though so maybe a ‘double.’ I didn’t love that I was on the first floor (116) and my window faced a noisy conversation area for a neighboring business. Those guys get to work at 6 so bring earplugs if you want to sleep later than that. My main concern was the room would be gross. It wasn’t. It felt clean enough. There’s no room service so you have to use Grubhub to get your breakfast and cofffee delivered. I recommend Golden Apple Grill for breakfast. They had a list of menus in the room additionally. The inn offers k-cup coffee and donuts in the lobby also. What else can I say about it. Pleasant staff. Safe at night in this neighborhood. 16$ uber ride to Millenuim Park. I took a city cab from O’Hare Airport to the hotel and it was like 60$ at 4-5 pm. I took an uber to Midway Airport at 6 am and it was 45$. Would totally stay there again if budget traveling alone.

Perfect Location
Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a GREAT location - right in the heart of Lincoln Park! I love that the hotel has onsite parking, where I could just pull into a spot and have access to my car at any time I needed. You do not have to wait for someone to fetch your car, it's just right outside. The parking is $35/night, which for Chicago is very reasonable. The hotel is older, and typical Chicago, Studio style as far as the rooms go. Many layers of paint, and older bathrooms. But everything works great. The bed was comfortable. I did not make use of the free breakfast, because Starbucks is a few steps from the door! You are located an easy walk to the beach and Lincoln Park Zoo.

Very Good 8.0
Nice, clean, and the right price. The room was more updated than the lobby or halls. The photos on the reservation website were out of date as the comforter and drapes in our room were definitely newer than what had been shown. This is a vintage older building with beautiful woodwork but could use a little updating. Everything was very clean and smelled fine. Due to its proximity to our destination in Lincoln Park, we will stay here again. Bathroom was small but clean. The bed was very comfortable. The parking, at $25/day is on par with rates in the area.

My sister and I stayed here 2 nights for a Cubs game. We arrived Thursday and checked out Saturday. The room isn't fancy, but we were happy with how clean everything was, and we were able to walk to Wrigley. The staff was excellent, the young man for the evening shift even came to help us the first night get the closed caption off the tv. The young lady even helped us when we were leaving to set up the Uber app and even gave us a coupon code. They do have hairdryers, you just have to ask for one, and the young man went straight to a cabinet and got one. We will stay here again for sure!!!!
