Good stay if you're traveling with pets
Friendly staff. They were in the process of updating rooms ...which really needed it to do. I stayed because I had my dog traveling with me.

Not Recommended
The reception staff were nice. We got our room. Walked in and it was muggy and hot. The AC kept turning off the whole night and the room was uncomfortably hot. It was a pain to get up every hour to turn on the AC. The bathtub was disgusting, by far the dirtiest one I have seen my entire life and I travel quite a bit. We found blonde hair on the wall of the tub, when both of us have black here. The tub was not flowing and water kept building up. The toilet seat was broken and fell to one side. I would not recommend this hotel, as I myself will probably never stay at a budget inn again.

marginal
TV reception was horrible; improved after i was moved. This hotel does not have HD TVs. The breakfast was ok, but they were out of bread both days and out of fruit on my 2nd day. Wish i would have spent the extra money to stay at Holiday Inn with english speaking guests

Great bed/horrible shower
The check-in clerk wasn't especially friendly, but we got checked in quickly. It was 104 degrees in Vacaville when we arrived. Fortunately the A/C in the room worked great. The bed was very comfortable, firm without being rock hard. Breakfast was adequate. The pancake machine wasn't working, but I don't usually eat pancakes and that didn't affect me. The sausage was good and there were real scrambled eggs, not the flat disc eggs that I've seen at some other places. There was bread, muffins, pastries, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and cold cereal. The only juice offered was apple as well as two types of flavored waters. I think it was the first time I've stayed somewhere that orange juice wasn't an option. The hotel made a big deal about their new Q shower, but it seriously left a lot to be desired. I'm short, and the shower head was just barely high enough that I didn't have to bend over to rinse my hair. My husband is 6'4", and the water hit him mid-chest. It was absolutely ridiculous. The shower spray also was too light to be able to rinse off quickly. There is a restaurant/lounge that shares the parking lot, and there is a fast-food restaurant/mini mart very close. I requested a room on the second floor, which I got, but our window and door faced a stucco wall. The hotel wasn't full so I'm sure I could've changed our room to one with natural light, but I didn't bother since we were there just for the one night.

Friendly, but outside stairs
The front office personnel are very friendly. From the pictures you can't tell that the stairs are all outside - no elevator. The towels were poor quality, but everything else was clean and kept up.
