Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok, Bangkok

Nice and clean room. Nearby to chatuchak weekend market so that is why we stayed here. Large Mall connected and nearby to train station.

We’re staying for 8 nights, this is our 3rd nights here. Everything here is good, we took Grab taxt for 500 baht from the international airport. We’re out most of the time, but we stay in yesterday and hung out at The Central Plaza. It was nice, lots of great restaurant and variety of food to choose from. Haven’t got the chance to walk around the neighborhood thou, so can’t comment on that. With the hotel, there’s a couple issues to us so far. Yesterday there was the housekeeper waked into our room at 4:30 in the afternoon while we’re taking a nap. The room was already made in the morning, I don’t know why she would need to walk in our room again. She opened our door and realized there’re people insides and hurry said sorry before she head out. Room ac is way too cold and it’s not adjustable. We set the temperature to 32°C and still freezing cold. My husband said we should tell the hotel, but I just don’t want to pack and switch room and unpack again. Overall, it’s a nice hotel to stay.

Would love to stay at all the Centara resorts

When I first checked in, the Centara Grand staff gave me a room on the fifth floor which was recently (as of the week I checked in) converted to non-smoking floor. The room was a decent size with modern bathroom facilities. Unfortunately, the room reeked of cigarette smoke. In fact, the entire floor smelled like cigarettes despite the conversion. I complained to the management about the smell. The staff was apologetic and offered a different non-smoking room on the six the floor. The room had the same layout but did not smell like the previous room. The main reason I picked Centara Grand is because of the proximity to Central Plaza mall and the subway. The mall and restaurants are accessible via the walkway. The grocery store Tops is conveniently located in the mall. Overall, the stay at Centara Grand was enjoyable.
