Do not stay in ANNEX building!! Warning!!
Do not stay in the Annex building. Our room is in a different building then the main hotel room. Down the street. It is located in a building shared with other apartments on different floors. You need 4 different keys to open all the doors to get to your room. 1st day there, me and my wife needed a quick nap around 4pm before we head out. Out of no where a Hispanic looking guy with tattoos on his arms and neck opens our room door and comes in without knocking. We where in shock as we were laying in bed half undress about to take a nap. He went over to the bed side, opened the fridge to put 1 bottle of beer in and then he left. All without saying a word to us. The fridge was about 1 feet from the side of the bed where my wife was laying. It freaked both of us out. The door has NO secondary lock. Very concerned about security at this hotel. 2nd problem, the phone rings in the middle of the night (3am) with no one on the other line. It happened for 2 nights so I just unplugged the phone. There is a older review on here or google that has the same issue as me. Should have read the reviews first. You have been warned.

Great hotel, great location!
My fiancé and I stayed here for one night during a layover we had in Rome. We booked here after reading mostly great reviews and are happy we did so. They upgraded our room since the room we originally booked wasn't available. The room was very nice! The only downside was that the bed was not very comfortable. The man at the front desk was very welcoming and helped us with restaurant recommendations and for a cab ride back to the airport. We were a very short walking distance to the Panthenon and many great restaurants and an easy 20 minute walk from the Colosseum. We were easily able to fit in a lot of sight seeing in such a short amount of time! We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Staff at the front desk were not very pleasant. They did answer our questions, but the answers were not at all helpful especially when asking for directions to a specific place. After several less than friendly answers, we did not ask for any additional help. Also, when you walked in the hotel you were not greeted. They kept their heads down as if you were not there.
