Affordable hotel in Auckland
Stayed for 3 nights recently while exploring the Auckland area. This hotel was affordably priced and offered a buffet breakfast for a decent additional price. Property is older and could use some TLC. Bathroom of our room was especially in need of some attention. Overall, we we reasonably satisfied with the stay - a decent value for the money in the Auckland area.

Comfortable and Relaxed
A very relaxing and pleasant place to stay being just on the edge of the city but still close enough to walk in. Great quiet location with the Rose Gardens just over the road. Views from the restaurant are superb. Older style accommodation but clean, comfortable and plenty of room.

All round disappointing
Overall, this was disappointing. From finding a blue pill in the room (ectasy, viagra or something else - it was phenergen), to mould in the bathroom, to hair through the bathtub, to a minimally functioning shower in one of our rooms. This was way overpriced for what was on offer. Rooms on the ground floor are especially noisy with the ability of people to walk along the rooms talking loudly and for road noise.
