I forgot to request a handicapped room for my wife. Without charge they upgraded us to a handicapped suite. So thankful for their caring approach to us.

Convenient location
Very convenient location. Rates lower because rooms NEED updating. Teetering on the seedy side. Beds were comfortable and great tv channel options with friendly staff.

Great room and location.
Loved the hotel, we had dogs and it was very pet friendly with a grass wooded area to let them out for a wee. Also are room 163 was right in front of the heated Jacuzzi in the indoor area. Loved the fact that the room had two doors, one to outside and one to the indoor area. Great location, a little noisy but we are heavy sleepers so it didn't bother us. Room service was great, and the location was convenient, we spent two nights there, and could have done a few more, if we had more time.

Feels like the 70's
The room felt like I had been teleported back to 1970. Everything generally felt a bit dusty and run down, but it didn't feel dirty. It felt more like character. I was (un)fortunate enough to spend a lot of time here after getting food poisoning from a restaurant on the way to my stay at the Grand Canyon. The room was cozy enough to aid my feverish and sick self, but the blankets definitely need replacing. Our comforter was ripped and I kept finding myself trapped inside it.

Expensive old motel, definitely not a resort
Defintely would not stay again. At $139 for a weeknight, expected much more. Room was dusty, linens were dirty, and room was old. Although they gave us another room, front desk was rude. I commented that I expected better for the price, and was asked if I want to cancel reservation instead? If we hadn't checked in so late (11pm), we would have gone to another hotel. Tiny closet/luggage area was not practical, cuz could not hang clothes once luggage was placed on the luggage rack. Although our room was on the third floor, we were directed to the stairs, and not told about availability of elevators. So we had to drag our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. They call themself a resort, but it felt like a motel.
