The stay was fine but we left our raincoats in the closet. The lost-n-found process does not seem to work at all.

College visit with my son. Loved the location, service was courteous and efficient, rooms were clean and elations.

Lovely hotel but lobby overwhelmed by dogs.
The rooms are lovely. Comfy beds. Great staff. BUT. Is it possible to be too dog friendly? This hotel proves the answer to that question is yes. It seems like most of it is people walking in from the street to hang out at the lobby coffee shop. Twice I had dogs wrap their long leashes around my legs and trip me. Dogs barking loudly at each other. Dogs laying in pathways. I like dogs. A lot. But this was ridiculous. Is the hotel’s business to cater to people who sit around and sip coffee or to have people be able to move through the lobby safely with luggage? We also had a problem with parents letting kids scream and race up and down the halls. It’s a beautiful hotel with really high quality furnishings. I don’t understand why they don’t take a bit more care about the animals on the first floor and noisy guests.

Very Good8.0
Unique Ambiance
The Graduate was a great place to stay in the heart of Charlottesville. I enjoyed the unique ambiance of the hotel as it made my stay more comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The only complaint I have is that I wasn't notified that I would need to pay for valet service. This should be included in the cost.

Comfortable "alumni" feel hotel at UVA
Stayed at the Graduate while visiting UVA with my son, after having just stayed at another of their hotels at another school earlier. The hotel location was fantastic, and the whole hotel had a much more personal feel than other hotel chains. It fits in with the university area, and the room was comfortable and provided just what we needed for our stay. Would gladly stay there again in the future.
