Avoid if possible
Even though it is a non smoking hotel, the room smelled like an ash tray. We switched rooms and the second was even worse. The area is kind of sketchy so we were not super comfortable having a motel like setup with an exterior door.

Fine for short stay but rustic
This hotel is not the best. We were staying there because it was walking distance to the Greensboro Coliseum. The halls smell like all the rooms are for smoking and carpet is very dirty. The room was overall fine. The bathroom has mildew in the shower, no stopper in the sink, a half peeled up sticker on the tub, and a previous hole in the back of the door that was terribly patched. The vending machine in the Lobby was broken and fitness center was closed. The outer doors were unlocked at night when we arrived back at 11pm; which doesn’t make one feel very safe.

Not even worth the $80
I actually booked 2 rooms. A king room and a double room. I was given 2 kings. I didn’t argue but after 40 minute check in process at 11pm …I didn’t have another 40 minutes to waste. Rooms only had one set of towels so at 11pm I had to go get extra towels. The rooms were filthy and we had to put a $50 deposit per room to cover if anyone smoked. I understand the deposit however if the rooms look like this please make it make sense. My husband took more pics of the “clean laundry” being transported in a trash can, fitness center full of dust and broken equipment. Front desk was friendly ….that’s about all this hotel has going for them. The Quality Inn where we are from is impeccable and that’s why we felt at ease reserving at this one. Pretty sad we had to sleep on top of the covers. Basically paid $80/room to shower and clothes my eyes for a few hours. Didn’t sleep well considering the door looked like it had been kicked in before and had to kick it to shut all the way. If it hadn’t been so late I would’ve declined and found another hotel.
