Minimal make-over = Big Improvement
Old hotel. Staff was nice but the place needs a make-over, even if means just new carpets and painting the walls white. Chuck the crap decor and any aging, rusting elements or badly grouted corners, edges etc. Customers just need a solid bed when clean linen, hot water, AC/Heat and enough light….Scrap the coffee maker w crap coffee, there’s a restaurant below if you really need bad coffee.

Noisy!
This place felt like a dump. It was right next to 87 situated in a treeless parking lot with no place to sit outside. The very noisy AC would drown out the sound of the thruway when it was going. When it stopped it was replaced by the din of passing trucks. There was no cell service in the room. I had to go outside to receive and make calls. I did like the coffee in the morning although I wish the cups weren't individually wrapped in plastic. The staff was pleasant and the room was clean but the overall feeling was that neither my husband or myself wan't to spend another second more in the room than we needed to.
