A reasonnable choice
It was a pretty good hotel. I appreciated the fruits and biscuits every day. The place was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is close to the university. Drawbacks include a bar next to the hotel which can be noisy in the late evening and subpar lighting in the bathroom. So definitely a reasonnable place and it was reasonably priced. I would go back if I go back to bristol.

Dissapointing!
Friendly staff, the upkeep of my room was terrible! The curtains were absolutely filthy, there were no net curtains so I had to have the curtains closed all the time or people on the street could see in. The pillows didn't have pillow protectors on and the pillows were so old they had turned yellow with years of use. There were industrial fans possibly for the restaurant right outside my window which meant there was a constant load humming noise. There was no hand soap provided so I had to keep using shower gel to wash my hands and the heated towel rail didn't work and was coming off the wall. The shower room was filthy and so badly decorated with paint splatters on the shower and tiles and the lino on the floor was coming up. Next to my bed on the wall were smears of what I could only imagine were bodily fluids! The tv only picked up 4 channels and even then the signal was bad. I feel short changed and will not be recommending this hotel at all.

Only issue I had was that I had (through Hotels.com) paid for breakfast when I booked. I went down for breakfast and they said it was not included in the price. I don't think I would have paid that much for breakfast if it wasn't included. Didn't have breakfast on the second morning.

Pretty bad room cleaning
I stayed in your hotel for 3 nights and not once the bedsheets were changed, not to mention that bed was really really poorly done. Clearly the room maid didn't even open the sheet to ventilate. The glass in the toilet was dirty and there was dust on the mirror table. I think you just really talk to your cleaning stuff and upgrade your performance because the hotel is really nice, the service at the desk was lovely and the pub downstair is great.
