Good 6.0
Not the best, but not the worst.
Pros: Walking distance from great restaurants, large rooms, front desk people nice enough. Cons: Layout of hotel-we had to take an elevator up, then take another one down to get to our room. Hotel feels like being in The Shining (other guests agreed.) The furniture in the lobby is super old, although probably very nice at one time, but now you can see butt indentations on each chair and couch, and there is no stuffing left in them. They were pretty gross.

Very Good 8.0
Charming hotel in perfect location
Nice boutique hotel with tons of charm and in a great location. The Forum and Coliseum are a few blocks away, and there are scores of bars and restaurants nearby. The view from the rooftop bar is spectacular, and the service is friendly and attentive. The room itself is somewhat small, but typical of classic European hotels. It's an elegant, classic hotel that oozes charm. I would definitely stay again.

Poor 2.0
No AC
The info on the website says it has AC. It failed to mention that it cannot be turned on at this time of the year (November). It was hot and sweltering in the room. We were advised to “just open the window” and turn the heater off. There wasn’t any breeze because it was raining and humid outside. It was a very long night and I had difficulty breathing because of too much humidity from outside. I can’t remember the last time I had to sleep with the windows open, welcoming all the noise and smell from the outside. I would definitely call the hotel first if an AC is a must for you to have a comfortable stay.
