The hotel itself was great but unfortunately I suspect the young lady that checked me into the hotel committed fraud with my debit card and ID. When I got there she asked me for my card and ID which is perfectly normal but what wasn’t normal is that she excused herself for a good 15 to 20 minutes with my information for no apparent reason. I didn’t think anything of it at the time but now everything is adding up. When she finally came back she seemed nervous and odd but I didn’t question it. Days later when I finally checked my account on my phone I found a charge for $734 done at the coach store on the exact day I checked in. I made no other purchases with that card on that day. To me, it seems like a no brainer but I can’t be for sure until an investigation is done. If my assumption is true, it would be a shame for this young lady to keep doing this to other tourists. The money is no issue since the card company will reimburse me but I can’t stand a thief! I hope Marriot looks into this issue. This happened this happened on 11/19/2018 at approximately 18:47pm. It was the younger Hispanic lady. Mid 20s.

Good Views and Amenities; parking is a drag
Second time at this property in the last 8 years. Nice property with excellent pool area for kids and adults. Hot, tasty, Fresh food is available until 1:00am. Check-in and staff were great which is leaves a good first impression. Overall staff was great for entire stay. Issues (1st small): Called for extra set of bath/wash towels due to 4 of us in a room, staff said they could only leave three full sets but would send them anyway. I'm back at home after a week and we're still waiting. 2nd (large): Don't quite understand why I pay resort fee AND self parking fee in a garage that is neither crowded or convenient. It takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes to leave the property after leaving your room and the same when you return. Arrived back at hotel late every night because it vacation and the kids want to hang out; one night, NO ONE answered the phone for the shuttle. The Security Guard must have been embarrassed when they didn't answer his radio call, so he graciously and without hesitation, loaded our family of four onto his extended golf cart and ferried us back to the hotel lobby. Per DayResort fee is $26; $25 for self parking, $20 for high speed internet. Internet is included if you are Marriott Rewards Member. How about including the parking for members also, or if you must, just add $10 if parking is required by member. GREAT VIEWS of all things Disney (fireworks) on higher floors in NORTH TOWER. Other than parking, overall very good stay

    Exceptional 10.0
A bit of a hiccup, but the staff was amazing!!!
During the Memorial Day weekend, my wife and I were celebrating our 5th year Anniversary and decided to have a staycation. We got to the hotel, and check-in took no longer than 5 mins. Once we got to the room, I saw that it was not the room that I had booked online. Since it was our Anniversary, I had to go and talk to the front desk. That is where I was helped by Maureen. I gave her my phone so she could look at my reservation that way she knew I wasn't trying to get a free upgrade (I had booked a pool view). She went ahead and searched throughout the system and no rooms were showing that they were available. She tried and tried and still wasn't able to find anything. That is when Maureen asked Tori for some help and Tori began to search the system. We were there for a good 45 mins and they stated that there weren't any King Bed rooms with a pool view available. I then asked if there were any rooms available with a pool view and they started to say no, but something inside of them told them to keep trying. Tori and Maureen finally was able to locate a room that was in fact ready and was a pool view. The system shut down whenever they tried to submit the room change and we almost lost the room, but if it wasn't for Maureen and Tori's help and willingness to continue the search. My wife and I wouldn't have had the Anniversary that we did. Usually in a moment like this people tend to get frustrated, but these two put me at ease and did not stop until the booking was fixed.

Fun activities, but had issues with the room
I've been to this hotel twice and I love it. The first time we stayed we felt the rooms were a little small, but the activities are awesome! We love the slides and the pool. Our kids loved it too, even our two year old was able to go down the kiddie slide. We ate at their Hibatichi restaurant and hated it. The second time we stayed here we were here from Friday to Sunday and we had a couple issues with the room, we had no ice bucket liners, the safe wasn't working, and there was a rotten grape from a previous guest under the desk. We didn't check in until 10pm on Friday so when I noticed I called down to the front desk and told them about the issues we were having and they said they would send someone right up. An hour later no one had been to our room yet so I called back down stairs and told her to cancel anyone coming to the room tonight because we are tired and to just reschedule for tomorrow. We came up with a time 10am for ice bucket liners, security, and cleaning to come to the room(we had to be in the room when security came). We waited until 11am and no one showed up so we went down to the pool to enjoy my birthday weekend. I ended up coming back up to the room at 2pm my room was not cleaned, grape still there. Went down to the front desk to complain and she said she would send someone up now. The grape was never cleaned up, the whole time we were there.

Overall, I'd give it a "meh." I'm really glad we got a good price on Hotels.com. I would have been mad if we had paid the full price. First, we noticed the valets appeared reckless with the cars so we decided to self-park. This meant going to a parking garage and catching a shuttle back to the front. To add insult to injury, we still had to pay $22 a night just to park. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. Check in was relatively quick. The hotel was very confusing in terms of directions. It took us a long time to find our room. The room had a very dated feel. The carpet seemed dirty, the furniture was very dinged up and the air conditioner was very loud. The colors in the room felt very dated as well, very 90s. The hotel uses some cleaner with a very strong citrus smell. It took our breath away in some of the hallways. It also seemed like they nickel and dimed us the whole time: Pay for parking, and a resort fee, and a $50 fee for "incidentals", no free breakfast. Overall, it seemed like the hotel used to be really nice but has fallen in quality in many areas. We will not be returning. There are better hotels closer to attractions for a lot less money.
