Nice hotel that management forgot.
It was a surprisingly well kept hotel with what appeared to be very new rooms. However since the main water heater has bee out for a while, and therefore no one parks near the main entrance, the place look abandoned when you pull up front to check in. It appears that Clarion no longer cares about this property. It’s a pity as the facilities otherwise are quite good

Over night stay for rest and safety
We pick this spot because of a long drive back to Florida from West Virginia and needed to avoid the blizzard on the coastal area. We arrived late astound 9pm and was told breakfast was available until 10am. We also reserved 2 rooms, one of which was to have 2 double beds for 1 parent and 2 teens to share. We even paid extra for this. We were given a room with a king bed and a pull out and told nothing else was available. We were not compensated back for the difference in price nor could get breakfast as it was actually over at 9am. The employee at the desk was no where to be found. We finally found her and she did not offer any resolution for good customer service. Not even a cup of coffee. She said there was nothing left for breakfast or coffee and she couldn't do anything about the rooms.

There was no hot breakfast. Just muffins and toast. Not even any fruit. They said the kitchen was going though some changes. Perhaps a $15 voucher to the Waffle House just down the street should have been offered as an alternative. Waffle House probably would have participated in the cost. The WiFi was either very sporadic or didn't work at all. There was only 2 sets of towels in the room. The lighting above the sink in the bathroom was a very small and dim 3 LED light. Putting makeup on would have been difficult.

The hotel was great, but nothing around.
The hotel itself was bright and clean. The problem was there was no place to eat. Restaurant closed, none other around except a Subway in a gas station. The station wasn't open at night either.

Good value hotel.
Room was appropriate for the price. Staff was friendly and attentive. Ice machine on second floor was out of order all weekend. It's a two story hotel with no elevator and the stairs are too far apart.
