The biggest issue for me was they had no one to come by and collect trash i understand covid and all. They didnt have anywere to take trash 5 days of food containers is alot. For the price you pay and the service you get doesnt equal out. Even when you saw house keeping in the hall they claim they were not allowed to help. So after my surgery i found another hotel that was cheaper and had better service. The only convience was that they are a block away from the hospital and thats why i chose this hotel.
Love wyndham. Need to buy new beds. Bed was very uncomfortable
Brief interaction with the staff was pleasant. Room was pretty small but clean. There are no frills due to COVID but that’s to be expected everywhere. WiFi worked very well and a steaming stick worked great on the TV. Parking will be very expensive if you are not there for the hospital.
The room was very clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was good. Plus it’s only a short one walk to the Massachusetts General Hospital, Conveince at its best
Very nice staff. We stayed there because we had appointment at Mass General Hospital. The valet instructed us how to self park in a hospital lot. Front desk very friendly and fast. Bed was not comfortable, we couldn’t sleep well. Plug outlet on my side of bed wasn’t working for my phone charger. The place is clean but worn down, in need of a fresh renovation. Neighborhood is safe and convenient to many things.
Walk to MGH. Discounted parking for patients. Rooms were nice.
the hotel is nice and near a lot of restaurants, while foods, cvs, starbucks . the parking is very pricey 68 a night and public lot next door $52 a day there is no day pass so every time you take your car in and out you will be charged. overall the hotel is fine we are in a pandemic so i understand there’s no food service but their are not a lot of options here . we were places ima room right next to the elevators and vending machine so we heard everything and everyone throughout the night . i’m not sure i will book this hotel again but it’s ok to a cheap stay and quick weekend getaway
Nice place, good location friendly staff clean room 😊
I had a medical appointment at Mass zgeneral and this hotel is the closest one and within a very easy walk. That was a big plus. Check in was easy and quick. Parking is around the corner and hotel offers valet parking for $58 per night, however if you park your own car and have appt at Mass General it was only $15 per night. The hotel room had a mini-fridge and coffee maker which were convenient. The beds in the room (1109) were not comfortable ( they were too hard). There are numerous restaurants nearby within walking distance as well as a CVS and whole foods store adjacent to hotel. At the time of my stay due to COVID restrictions the pool and gym were closed. travelers coming from out of state should keep current with travel advisories.
We were beyond disappointed with our stay at this hotel. There were absolutely no amenities available. There was no food, no pool, no room make-up, all were promised when we booked. There was a wing of the hotel that was open to the local hospital. We felt extremely unsafe our entire stay. We did not know when booking this hotel that hospital staff would be coming and going using the same entrances and elevators as we would be. I am autoimmune and my father has diabetes. With everything going on with this pandemic, we were extremely upset with how the hotel handled this. On top of it, we valeted our car and one of the employees dented the back of our van. We spent two days of our stay trying to get in contact with the manager. They kept telling us different stories and at the end refused to take responsibility. I have never been so disappointed with a hotel and their customer service.
