Pass on this one.
This hotel is falling apart inside and out. There are holes in the hallway ceilings from past water leaks and the outside facade is crumbling. The air quality in the room is suspicious because of lack of upkeep. The continental breakfast is bare bones and the coffee watered down. There are great local coffee shops I would point you to instead. It was not a restful stay.

What a crap hole
First of all this Hotel was a Holiday Inn but Quality inn bought it from Holiday Inn and did a half way job of restoring some of it. I paid $150.00 for the room and then with tax and all the other bull crap it erupted at $167. The room is about a $65 dollar room. The room was clean except for some hair in the bathroom floor but the whole room smelled like a skunk. The hotel was supposed to have a bar but it was closed because they didn’t have a bartender that night. Except for the main entrance of the hotel and the semi remodeled rooms the rest of the hotel was a run down crap hole. The whole town of Trinidad is a rundown mess with crack heads and ex cons running and crawling around everywhere. Do yourself a favor and just keep driving a little farther and not stop at this crap hole hotel.

Could have been better.
Maybe it was just a bad room, but the bathroom door was busted up, and the heat didn't seem to work. The staff was friendly though, and the room (a family room) was big. It just needed fixed up.
