While the rooms and service are absolutely great, the noise level of the cleaning staff in the mornings could use some work.

Pleasant staff. Only issue is I ordered dinner one evening there and it was obviously prepared and basically awful. Mediterranean salad was floating in oil and the flatbread pizza was terrible.

Tired hotel— overpriced!
I have stayed at Hyatt hotels before. Way overpriced for condition of hotel. Old hotel. Bathroom very very small. Could use updating. Dirty carpets outside in hall and in room. I’ve stayed in Hyatt Sacramento— very very nice hotel. Stayed there only because it was close to Convention Center. During stay 2 out of 3 elevators out of service one day. Were not able to use stairs. Do not pay more than $125 a night here!

Downtown place
We were there for the US National Ice Skating Championships and stayed for 11 days. Staff was great, but the beds were not comfortable!

For the price, I expected more than a basic hotel. Our room wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t amazing, either. The walls are thin and we could hear the light rail and Christmas carnival across the street through the late hours, as well as anyone who walked down the hallway. It FELT cheaply constructed and furnished. It was nice to have breakfast as part of the deal. It was filling but not anything to write home about. I watched one of the people (Jose) tasked with keeping the breakfast area clean walk past a glass of spilled milk six times. He glanced at it, then continued to wipe down counters. People kept stepping around the milk since it was making the floor slippery. When we left, he was talking on his cell phone without the milk having been cleaned (for at least 20 mins). It was as if he was there solely to clean the counters, and if anything was spilled elsewhere, he wasn’t having any of that, despite its liability and the unsightliness of milk being splattered on the floor. I should have researched the hotel better. I didn’t realize our room had no tub. We brought some bath salts for soaking and relaxing. But it has a shower with a very forceful shower head. It was nice that the water didn’t dribble out as it does at some hotels. And the heat didn’t work. We kept raising it on the wall thermostat, but it stuck to a solid 66 degrees during the 18 hours we spent there. Paying $26 a day for parking in such a location is annoying too.
