never again here
The employee at check-in was not very helpful i.e. he could not recommend a restaurant for breakfast as he never ate out. He shared how much he hated being in Taos and couldn't wait to return to LA or Dallas. He wasn't sure which. There were no towels in the room. When my wife called the desk she was told they would check to see if any were any available. The room was not very clean. The sink was dirty. It appears that the mgt. is not keeping up the property. Beds were uncomfortable. Mattresses needed replacement.

Reluctant
Was reluctant to stay here because of the many low reviews. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be...our room was ready and pretty clean, but facility, parking lot, lobby, and breakfast were in need of repair.

Our room didn't have towels, the remote didn't work and it took awhile before our tv worked. The other guest were loud.

Never stay here!
The stay here was terrible. We booked four rooms as a family. When one group went into the room assigned to them, they found someone was already in the room. When I went in my room, I found there to be soaking wet, used, dirty towels in the bathroom, sheets soiled with hairs, filthy bath tub, and a dirty coffee pot complete with the old coffee grounds from its last use. When I complained about the room, they gave me a key to another room to look at. I went in and this time saw dirty used towels on the bed. I turned around, they said they cleaned the first room and that I could return to it. We went in, and found that the sheets were possibly changed, but the soiled towels remained in the bathroom. We went back and complained, and never once got an apology, but we were made to feel as if we were a problem.

Cheap, but barely even worth the low price
Two night stay. Hard beds. Did not clean the room after first night. Hard time getting clean towels. Old and stained carpets. Unfriendly front desk. Continental breakfast, once items were out, they didn't refresh anything.
