I had booked a small studio apartment because that is what I wanted.
They told me they had overbooked and upgraded me to a huge one bedroom apartment that slept four people. They did not tell me that the upgrade meant I had to pay more money for it.
I did not realize this until I had received the bill.
I had to pay an additional fee/ city taxes at their office, as well.
So, whatever price you are quoted, keep in mind that the price will be higher.
This is not a pleasant surprise, at all, if you are on a budget.
The apartment was very spacious, however. But just way too big for my uses. I could not feel comfortable there.
-The floor was very dirty, so walking around barefoot all day meant my feet turned black
-The bath towels were very thick, but left grey fuzz all over me, my hands, and my body when I used them. So then, I had to wipe my hands, body, and face with something else to remove the grey fuzz.
-There were many big windows in the apartment, but they faced other apartments. If you really like your privacy, this is not for you.
-Due to the closeness to other apartment buildings, lots of light comes through the windows at night. The blinds did not block out the light, and sleeping was difficult.
- There are not any good sized grocery stores near by, no where to buy a wide range of fruits or veggies.
-The fridge smelled like raw meat, and some of the pans/ dishes in the cupboard were dirty
